The key responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician is to perform daily equipment and building maintenance to ensure proper functioning and operation while adhering to company standards, processes and systems. Correct mechanical and electrical problems; perform preventative maintenance, as well as implementing upgrades and improvements for all company equipment and fixtures. The right candidate should have good knowledge of plumbing, welding, PLC, power transmission, industrial electronics, hydraulics/pneumatic and interpretation of blue prints.
Execute preventative maintenance and test programs per company guidelines.Complete all repairs, modifications and installations as required.Observe mechanical devices in operation for potential problems or issues.Ensure all mechanical devices are operating in strict accordance with safety guidelines.Read and respond to manufacture and company based equipment information.Ensure compliance to all Federal and State responsibilities.Other duties as assigned.
Associate degree or equivalent from two year college or technical school preferredMinimum of 3-5 years or the equivalent combination of training, education and work experienceAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures manualsAbility to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situationsProductive attitude, customer focused and desire to work with coaches and co-workersPrior Lean Manufacturing experience preferredFood experience a plus
